Story for inventing the Kiddy Kap?
My husband and I took our first son Chris for a drive. He was about a year old at the time. Chris was in his car seat crying, so I gave him his baby bottle and he didn't want it then I gave him his sippy cup and refused to take it and then Chris started pointing at my bottled beverage of Gatorade and wanted my drink. I did not give it to him so he started screaming and crying getting louder and louder and so of course I handed him my beverage (bad idea) and he spilled most of the drink all over himself and in the car. Sitting in the passenger seat holding my beverage in one hand and his sippy cup in another. I stared at both of them together and thought to myself "Why can there be a twist on cap with a spout for common beverage bottles". That's how I came up with Kiddy Kap..
How I Started?
I went through a lot of internet searching for manufacturing, and I found a source in China who is making my products and packaging. I am a work at home mom and handle everything from my computer and phone.
My future plans for Kiddy Kap, Inc. is to have my products manufactured here in the U.S. and make more products.

From your experience, what have parents said to you about your
invention? How has it helped them? How has it made their life easier?
I get plenty of E-mails from a lot of dads, moms and grandma's saying they love the idea & that I made their lives much easier and the fact that they don't like to travel with big sippy cups everywhere they go. A lot of moms are carrying Kiddy Kaps in their purses or baby bags, traveling, going to malls, parks... The most emails I get from parents is that a lot of kids love to drink from grown up drinks with Kiddy Kap on them.
